What Our Clients Have to Say

“Suzanne has become a friend through business. Without a doubt one of the hardest working people I have ever met, serious but fun at the same time. And she gets the job done, always, without rubbing her suppliers the wrong way. A true professional in all the right ways.”— Tom Hedges, Hedges Family Estate.

"I've been able to surround myself with high achievers who work hard and are committed to their word. These people understand goals, quality in their work, leadership, clarity of vision, excellent communication, and can successfully fulfill any role. These type of people bend, but don't break. An overall flexible person! I consider Suzanne Hight as one of those people and one of the best I've ever worked with. She is an expert in event planning and administration. She is extremely well connected within the community and a true, get-it-done-lady. I've worked side by side with her for many years on different events. Anyone would be fortunate to have her on their team." — Gene Juarez, Gene Juarez Salons and Spas

“Celebrity Waiter's Luncheon"
Z Special Events is proud to partner with the Celebrity Waiters Luncheon to help support some of the city’s outstanding and deserving charities. For 33 years, The Celebrity Waiters Luncheon has raised funds to support local non-profit organizations. Z Special Events has been instrumental in planning and managing this fun and irreverent event for the past 20 years.

For many years, the proceeds from Celebrity Waiters Luncheon supported the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. When the Leukemia Lymphoma organization chose to focus its fundraising efforts with alternative activities in 2012, dedicated Celebrity Waiters Luncheon volunteers, including Suzanne Hight, vowed to keep the event going.

This group of community leaders established a new non-profit organization and worked to re-energize and refresh this classic event. In 2013, the group hosted its first, revamped luncheon, which benefited the Millionair Club Charity. Through the efforts and creativity of the newly formed non-profit, the event raised nearly two times the amount it had the prior year.
