What We Do
Z Special Events has made many of Seattle’s and the Puget Sound area’s most talked-about charitable in-person galas, virtual fundraisers and social affairs luminous since 1994.
In today's ever-changing philanthropic environment, charities and non-profit organizations need to have their in-person or virtual fundraising events stand out from the crowd. Staid, stale, and repetitious in-person and virtual fundraisers that don't capture people's imaginations and wallets simply aren't able to achieve their ultimate goals – raising money for their worthy causes.
Creating a successful in-person or virtual charitable affair means more than just flawless executed logistics – it also means developing fresh new ideas, which are designed to entertain and appeal to a discerning donor audience.
In order to be a memorable and inspirational event in today’s market, you need to be both fun, creative, and unique. At Z Special Events, we help our clients design experiences that shake things up and are sometimes, dare we say it, even a bit edgy!
We are intimately familiar with the Seattle philanthropic scene, and work with our clients to identify ways to set their organizations apart from the norm. In addition to stylizing events through décor, staging, and entertainment; we shepherd our clients with substantive strategic planning advice to help them establish fundraising goals and standout from the crowd.
Through the years, we have established a reputation as Seattle's go-to event management team for all types of charitable events and productions.

About Suzanne Hight
"I'm inspired by the ability to make a difference through my efforts to help to raise funds for people, causes and those less fortunate." — Suzanne Hight
Suzanne's bent toward marketing and promotion began with an education in both journalism and arts and sciences, where she earned double bachelor degrees from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She ascended in advertising and marketing at major agencies in Denver and Seattle before going into business for herself.
Suzanne credits the late charity auctioneer extraordinaire, Dick Friel, in setting the high standard to which she aspires. His vision took charity auctions to a new level by applying creativity, tapping a knowledge of people, and bringing energy to events.
When she's not putting together upwards of a dozen well-heeled events in a given year, you'll find Suzanne spending time with her husband traveling, hiking, skiing, reading, enjoying good friends, and fine wine.
